Here's a bit of an update on GBC tires from Quad Zone. Read the whole thing. If the facts are'nt correct please don't blame me, its the internet.

Sad stuff just goes to prove if it is TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, There is a great chance it is not true.

Colby and Dusty brought GBC to IATVHSS, I am sure that they will be doing their very BEST to NOT let the changes at GBC screw IATVHSS over one bit. Maybe the GBC changes are for the best.

I don't wanna speak for them . . but from what I read . . . they are all backordered on the XRex, something about changing over some molds or something. Race Rex tires are going out. Paperwork is a bixch but that all has to be straightened out. I saw that Johnny G is a spokesperson for them now. . . . so I think after GBC gets this stuff straightened out, it will all be good. You're not alone ZMan, many are waiting . . . C&D can get em out as soon as they can get em. There's a lot bixchin on the national level cause they have already started. . . I think you will see tires before May.

The junk part of this is that the contingency tires have to come straight from GBC, everyone's hands are tied. I understand that. I found out that there are 1,000 Race Rex tires at a "distributor" warehouse but these can not be "distributed" for the contingency deal. This sucks for everyone. However, while I am pretty tick'd off about it, there will be 996 tires in that warehouse after I put in an order tomorrow.
